Amalfi Coast Daytrip - Need Itinerary Help

Hi Everyone, I have 4-5 hours to spend in the Amalfi coast with a driver (travelling from Sorrento). Can you please help provide some suggestions on itinerary? Below are some sights I want to see and places I should stop. Appreciate any feedback on how to plan the day. I'm mostly interested in strollilng the town and enjoying some of the restaurants/cafe. - Stop in Le Sirenuse oyster bar
-Villa Cimbrone in Ravello Thanks in advance!

You might want to check into the boats that go out and just skirt the coast line around the town of Amalfi. It's not expensive, only about an hour and you see some beautiful sights. ENJOY!!!!

Monetti Taxi(Rick mentions in his book). Raffael picked us up at the hotel in Sorrento, then drove the coast, stopped where ever we wanted for pictures, Positano, Almalfi, and we also wanted to see Paestum. Learned a lot of history of the coast and was well worth the money.
My husband gets car sick, so the bus wasn't going to work, and I wasn't sure if the ferrys would be running late April. PM me if you'd like the email address for the Monnettis.

Depends on the time of day. If a.m. head to Ravello first. The Villa and Gardens are amazing in morning light. Then head down to Amalfi, stroll the town, climb the Doumo, stop at a café. Next on to Positano for lunch at the oyster bar. Finish with a walk around town.
If you leave in around noon, you could reverse the itinerary

You could also do this by yourself by using the bus.

So it is possible to travel that famous cliff-hugging road along the Amalfi Coast on a bus? Any details about how and where and when to get catch this bus would be most appreciated.

Becky, we got the bus at train station and it was already crowded, not sure if there are any other pick up stops in Sorrento but for best seat try the beginning and get a seat opposite from driver for best view. If you get off in Positano get off at second stop or you will have to take local bus into town, hope this helps.

I suggest hiring Monetti Taxi service or another private driver and skip the bus. With a private driver you will learn so much more. Raffaele was our driver in August and we had a wonderful day. We didn't have much opportunity to spend a lot of time in the towns as the traffic was bumper to bumper but we really enjoyed the drive with personal service. If I ever return, I would just go to one town and spend the day exploring.
