I am planning to spend 3 days on the Amalfi Coast. Given my interests a friend has recommended we stay in one of the small hotels on Coast between Amalfi and Positano. We are going in November so we don't expect to have trouble finding a hotel but would like any recommendations we can get. My friend has recommended we find one with good access to the beach and nearby town with good restaurants. Any suggestions?

Have you looked at the weather records for November on the AC? November tends to be the wettest month of the year. The temperatures will be cooling as well. But who knows, you might strike lucky. We once had fine, but not beach, weather up to November 6th but the averages are against you.

Find a place in Positano. It has lots of good restaurants and a very nice beach.
