looking for a place to stay on Amalfi coast. At the moment looking at Ravello & Amalfi. Planning on going the end of June with my wife both 70 yrs old. Hoping to find a B&B, Air B&B for under $200.00 a day. any suggestions?

I enjoyed staying in Amalfi at the Villa Annalara. Reasonably priced, run by a pair of brothers who dote on their guests, fantastic views from the large terrace over the town and the sea. You’d have easier bus connections from Amalfi than Ravello.

Will you have a car or be relying on public transportation? We have stayed twice at Punta Civita in Ravello and LOVED it! (€120) It’s half way up the mountain between Atrani and Ravello. So you either need to be in great shape to hike the stairs to get to places, or have a car. The other place that we have stayed and loved was Villa San Cosma in Ravello as well, just at the edge of town. It’s just a couple of doors down from Mama Agata’s cooking class location. Stunning views and a lovely villa! We always prefer Ravello because of the views and we love the hiking so we can burn off the pasta and wine! 😊😊
