Alternative routes to Bellagio due to landslide

Hello, flying into MXP on June 8 at 10:25am
We originally planned to take train to Milan Central, then train to Varenna, then ferry to Bellagio. With the track damage, it looks like we get off train in Lecco, then bus the rest of the way to Varenna. All-in-all, looks like around 3 hours give take.

Wondering if there is a good alternative. Looking at train/bus/car to Como, then the 1:30 fast ferry directly to Bellagio. Looks like we have to buy ferry tix at the ferry station, so can't pre-book. A little concerned that we can make fast ferry in time due to customs, train schedules, etc.
Does this sound like a reliable option? Or are there other options we might consider?

I suggest the train directly from Milan to Como. The train station is close to the ferry slip. Very easy

There is also a fast boat at 2:20 pm and at 4:10 pm. You could make the 1:30 boat, but only if things go perfectly smooth.
You want to go to Como Lago station to be an easy walk to the ferry dock. Take the train from Malpensa and change trains at Saronno to Como Lago. should take 1 hour and 18 minutes with departures every 30 minutes at 11:26, 11:56, 12:26. etc

If you get the 11:26 train, you can make the 1:30 pm boat. 11:56 is iffy, but the 2:20 pm boat for sure, as is the 12:26 train. Later than that, you can get the 4:10 pm boat.
