Do people recommend taking the lift from Ortisei or from Siusi seis near Kastelruth? I am looking for some easy walks with maximum scenery. Replied with route…

Do whatever is convenient from your accomodation: the lifts arrive 3 miles apart and there is public transportation on the plateau. Can't say much about hikes, I only know the area in winter.

Take the lift from Ortisei up to Seceda there are some easy walks and great scenery up there.

We took the Seiser Alm lift to Compatsch. From there a short down hill walk to the Panorama lift, which was cash only. Beautiful views from the ridge top then we walked down to Hotel Ritsch for lunch. I would find a more rustic place in the future but tired little legs prevailed. From there we walked back to Compastch. Nice easy loop mostly down hill and not two steep with plenty of scenery. I would skip this place if I came back unless you really like gentle uphill and downhill walks with farm scenery and mountain peaks that are much better scene from other places.
