There are two things I have learned about traveling: things change and you have to be flexible! We are taking the My Way Alpine Europe tour this summer. For a year, I have planned our day on the Alpe di Suisi; a leisurely stroll from Compatasch through the meadows with lunch at Malaga Schgaguler Schwaige. The setting is spectacular and the food looks great. Unfortunately, the hut is closed on the Saturday we are there. Bummer!
I would appreciate any suggestions on an alternate hike / hut. I am looking for about a 5-6 hour round trip hike with a lunch midway. If you are familiar with Schgaguler, you will have an idea what I like.
Any other insights on the trip in general would also be appreciated. Thank you so much!!!
