Almalfi Coast Tour -Which company. Aldo Limos or Sorrento Car?

I am trying to book an all day Almalfi Coast tour. Which company do you guys recommend. Have you used these mentioned? Thank you!

Or should I just do it on my own with public transportation??

I used the public SITA bus, worked just fine except you're tied to the bus schedule (I went in September). There are pros and cons to each approach, so you have to decide what's most important to you. My bus trip was just to get a taste and look at the lovely view out the window, it was in no way a comprehensive look - I only stopped and walked around in Amalfi, which was the bus terminus. I still really enjoyed it though.

Yolie, you seem to have a lot of tours + some cooking classes + other pricey things booked for this trip, and the coast is less expensive (you're already a little freaked about ferry costs to Capri) and not especially difficult to do on your own. I wouldn't spend the extra for a tour.

I did the same. The bus was perfectly fine. Comfortable. Big windows.

Important! Grab a seat on the right side of the bus heading south, on the left side heading north -- that's the side facing the ocean and have by far the better views. (Competition for these seats may be intense - you better be among the first to get on the bus).

I was glad not to be driving.

Yep, I'd fly solo for this one. Plus you can spend as long or as short a time in any one place as you wish to.

Great! Does anyone know how much is the bus and what bus stops to get off on?

Your best bet for an independent tour are as stated the bus. Daily tickets for the bus are 10-12 euros. This allowed you to hop on and off as you see fit. Only validating the ticket once. Look at the route Sorrento-Amalfi, then using the drop down Amalfi- Salerno. Where you get off is your choice.
