Alma Domus in Siena

Not sure, but it may be because of timing. They may not have their fax machine turned on 24 hours. At the time you posted your question, it was 12:40 am tomorrow morning in Siena. With you on Mountain time (I believe), they're 8 hours ahead of you. So either stay up past midnight and try to fax it in, or try again first thing one morning.

I also had trouble trying to fax this place last year. Are you aware they now have a website?

We tried to fax early the next morning and then when I heard about the website, we completed the reservation via email.

Thanks Dan, I'm glad to hear good reviews. We have requested a room with a view and at the first of the year I will reconfirm the room and con vista!

Email is better

We stayed there in early July and loved it. The rooms are very spartan but nice, but make sure you ask for a view room (con vista in Italian) because the small balcony we had looked right at the Duomo.

Try calling them. I called from Italy when I stayed there in 2002. It's an unbelievably great deal in Siena. The rooms are immaculate and the view was heavenly.
