We found two places that are in our budget for our 2 nights in Venice- which do you recommend? Location is important and we like being in the center of the action

Have not staued at either. alloggi Barbaria is a bit removed from the major sites and in a more residential area.
Casa Cosmo is more in the thick of things in San Marco.

I stayed at Alloggi Barbaria, and it definitely felt far away from the action. Horrible coffee too. I think people generally stay at Alloggi Barbaria so they can find a quiet out of the way place, and that seems to not be what you're looking for.

Exactly the advise I was looking for...casa cosmo it is- cc also honored sr book pricing whereas Alloggi Barbaria would not!
