All-Access museum or art gallery pass?

Is there some sort of pass you can buy which allows you access to a lot of museums. I know there's one in Florence and just wondered if there's a similar arrangement in Rome.

The most interesting museum pass in Italy is offered by two northern regions. There is a Museum Card for Piemonte and a Museum card for Lombardia. Paying 45€ you can gain access hundreds of museum, castles, churches and galleries for an entire year in each Region.

For Rome you can retrieve some information here:

Just be sure to do the math before buying any sites pass. I know that the romapass is not always the best value, especially if you only visit one or two sites covered by the pass. If that is the case it's a better idea to buy entry tickets online and save the money rather than wasting money on the pass.

The Roma Pass is not a full-coverage pass. It covers the first two or three sites that you visit with it (depending on version purchased) and then gives discounts on other sites. Does not cover the Vatican Museum.
