Can you take a purse or lunch bag on Alitalia besides the correct carry on as described? Sounds like you can't. I don't want to be surprised....Chicago to Rome Thanks,

Vinita yes you can bring a pruse or lunch bag. In addition to a carry on luggage you can have one other item. I carry a tote bag with my purse and munchies inside...the same for the guys

Ditto, we flew them last November, no problem with a wheelie and a second bag. Ciao!
