Does anyone know if there are hairdryers in the Casa Rossa villa in Varenna or available in the Pesion Guerrato in Venice? Thanks!

Hi Ali-I stayed at Pensione Guerrato in June and they have one at the front desk you can borrow and then return. However, if someone else is using it when you need it, you are out of luck. We really enjoyed that hotel though (charming and historic), have a great time in Venice!

The hairdryers in Venice were horrible. I stayed at two different hotels and they both had these things that looked like a vacuum. The air came out sideways, and you have to hold the hose upward for it to come on.
Try an appliance store and get a mini dryer once you arrive - I bought one for 8 Euro and it works fantastic.
