Marco Polo Airport is on the laggpn on the mainland about 8-9 mm from Venice proper. Airport code is VCE

There's a nice bus in to the Vaporetto stop and then just motor on down. Take enough Euros with you that you don't have to change more in the airport. You'll be too tired/excited, the exchange rate is poor and you might as well put on a big sign that you have money,come get it.
