We are leaving Venice on an early morning flight so need a good hotel with food service close to the airport. Any recommendations?

How early?
The bus connections from Venice are timed to the earliest flights, so it may be necessary to stay at an airside hotel.

Our plane leaves at 6:50 so we have to be there VERY early.

We have stayed at this place. I believe they have a shuttle to the airport. we were dropping a rental car, so we didn't use it.

There is not much open at Marco Polo before 5:30 am, so you probably don't need to get there much before that.

We are doing the same thing in October. Booked a night at the Titian Inn through http://www.1800hotels.com, about $140 for the night. They will accomodate a 4:30 am breakfast and the shuttle is 5 euro I think.
