We get into Rome mid afternoon from Los Angeles and want to stay in a hotel at the Fiumicino airport that has a shuttle---we'll pick up a rental car the next day and drive to Assisi. Does anyone suggest a good hotel and/or maybe one with special web sites, etc. Thanks.

Do you mean a free shuttle into Rome? I doubt you'll find a hotel with a shuttle. If you are staying at the airport you can take the leonardo express train into the city for 14 euros each. There is a Hilton at the airport that you can check for specials. Donna

Dorothy, I'm assuming you mean a shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
