Airport Assistance Tipping

Does anyone know what is expected as a tip (in USA and Italy) for wheelchair assistance in the airport? Unfortunate accident just before we leave puts us in the situation of needing help between flights, through immigration to luggage pickup.

Thanks

I had to use airport assistance after taking sick on a cruise the ended in Rome and after which we went onward to London. In Rome I tipped 5 euro and in London 5 GBP. Whether that was the expected amount I cannot say but there seemed to be no sign of disappointment in either case.

There is never a need to tip for anything in Italy. If it will make you feel better you can give the person a small tip (no more than a few euros) but it is not needed or expected.
