Anyone have any experience flying Aer Lingus, Air Berlin or KLM? The first 2 have pretty inexpensive flights from JFK to Rome.

Yes, have flown both Aer Lingus and KLM. No complaints. Might check out http://www.airlines-inform.com/airline_reviews/ and http://www.airlinequality.com/ for customer reviews.

We flew KLM last year from Texas (r/t) to Europe. Nothing to complain about. Not nearly as good as SAS or AF tho. So sorry they both bailed out of Seattle.

We thought Aer Lingus was great, can't compare them to Air Berlin or KLM but can to other majors and found them above the other major carriers.

I have heard that Alitalia was terrible. Not sure why. Any experience with that one?

Used Alitalia last month,only time I've used them, no complaints.
