With everyones help I did book my airfare for next April, open jaw from Greenville, SC to Rome/return from Barcelona. Paid $776, and happy. Why do I keep checking...this morning it $825, this afternoon $714. My times work better so it didn't matter but NOW it's back up to $776-just a point to share
That is a good fare especially if you got the times you want! I stop checking once I book it otherwise would make myself crazy :)
Like Steve says, it pays to obsess over the flight you book in case the price changes because if the same price drops significantly, you may be refunded that amount. I booked last year in early June for my Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Rothenburg trip and checked every day on expedia what the current fare was. I lucked out, because my $624 R/T trip only increased in fare as time went on. So I felt good about myself. So now I booked by Italy airfare, and yes I do check the current fares, and I will until I leave in November. I think it is apart of the travel obsession.
You have a great fare, so don't change it. Quit checking! Even if you decided to change it, it would cost you far more in fees than what you would save.
