AirBnb recommendations Venice, Siena, Rome, Sorrento

Can anyone send AirBnb recommendations for Venice, Siena, Rome, and Sorrento? Specific ones are great. Or, any advice on how to narrow in on a specific area would be great. There will be 2 of us in Venice and Siena, and then 3 in Rome and Sorrento as our daughter will join us. Thank you!

Hi,
pop over the hotel and restaurant review section, you might find a lot there :)

We really liked this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in Rome earlier this month: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/12320816?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=29473aa9-fa46-49db-a57a-0fe34c5b0c0b

It was a new neighborhood for us in Rome and we liked it almost as much as Testaccio (Testaccio west of via Marmorata and north of via Galvani) --- it was an easy walk from Roma Termini and to several of the main sites, but probably not as convenient as being right in the middle of the main things people go to Rome to see (close to the Pantheon, for example).

We also liked staying in this 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in Venice for 10 nights in December 2023: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/31669467?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=ccecc31a-2cec-4c02-b7ee-c31e426a7e80

Again, this was a new neighborhood for us in Venice and near the train station, and we would stay there on our next trip, too. The shower doors need fixing, but once you learn the trick of closing them, they are not a big deal at all. Canal views on two sides.

We prefer to rent apartments a little way away from the area where a lot of other tourists are (for example, five years ago, we also loved being in the eastern part of the Venetian area called Castello on the via Garibaldi). We enjoy taking a bus in Rome and a vaporetto in Venice, but if you have just a few nights in each place, you might want to be closer to the action.

Just read all the reviews very carefully.

If your daughter would be fine sleeping on the comfy sectional sofa, I would recommend the AirBNB we stayed at in Rome: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/24890130?source_impression_id=p3_1705763517_zVi42De2EX3Y6win

It has two bathrooms, so great for 3 people. Plus the elevator opens straight into the unit (you get a special code to make that happen). We enjoyed the location and found some great places to eat and drink near the apartment.

For Venice, try and book in the Cannaregio neighbourhood. It's quiet and wonderful.
