we are going on a cruise from palermo sept, 24, but we need a place to stay 4 days prior, any suggestions , we like being in the city , ill do a airbnb, if anybody knows of a good one, JOEY VACCARINO

If you are comfortable with Airbnb, why not just do a search there and read reviews? Personally, I prefer www.Booking.com and www..VRBO.com but I always start searching myself. And read the reviews. Then if I have a question about location or amenities, I might turn to this community for insight. But best to do your own search.

We stayed in an Airbnb apartment on Via Epicarmo near the main post office on Via Roma. It was a wonderful hugh apartment with an elevator, washer and separate bedroom. Best of all, it was only about $50 a night. It was in a safe neighborhood with many restaurants nearby.
