Just found out our non-stop flight from Boston to Milan on Air One in late October was cancelled. They can re-route us through Chicago or refund our money. Our agent is trying to get more details, but thought I would warn others.

They notified our travel agent. Stopping all flights to/from Boston as of Oct. 5th.

Please do provide the details as you get them. I just booked a flight on AirOne - Chicago to Milan. I was a little worried when booking this flight - great price, but such a new route. I hope everything works out with your trip to Italy in October.

Tayna - I believe they will continue to operate out of Chicago because they offered to send us through there, so you should be OK. (That doesn't help us much since we don't want to travel in the opposite direction of where we are heading so it looks like we will have to try to book another flight with another carrier.)

I spent some time on the phone with Air One yesterday. My flight is indeed canceled and the routing through Chicago will add about 8 hours to my trip each way. I'm probably going to get the refund and book with other airline. I'm glad I read this board because otherwise I'm not sure how I would have found out.

Thank you so much for your post. I was able to cancel my flight (now through Chicago) on Air One and book the better flight through Delta/Air France for only $70 more on Saturday. As of Monday morning, all flights to Milan are at least $300 more than the Air One flight. Since I haven't been formally notified by Air One of this change, I appreciate the notification that you posted here emmensely.

Matt - Glad you were able to get another flight. We also booked on an Air France flight, but the new flight goes to Florence which was our ultimate destination anyway. Only downside is that it is not direct but has a short layover in Paris.

Am glad I found this site. I was scheduled to return from Milan this May through Boston. Have been able to change it to Chicago which is better for me than Boston.
