Has anyone had experience flying Air One? I just started looking at flights from Dallas to Rome and they have the best rates. I had never heard of them.

We flew AirOne 2 years ago from Rome to Catania & return. Worked perfectly & I would use them again. I wish AirOne would start a Montreal/Rome route.

Air One was great for us. Air One is a Lufthansa alliance airline/ also known as a code share.
We used them Rome to Palermo. On time, clean planes. It was a short hop, but still great service. They are less expensive than other airlines.

Air One is a codeshare with Lufthansa not owned by it. In fact, Air One and Alitalia are still trying to merge.

Have used Air One several times in Italy, always with great experience. Airline has been around for several years, but service between USA/Italy is fairly new. Some people have reported cancellations on USA/Italy routes (do a search of past postings).

Had a horrible experience with Air One. We were booked out of Boston, direct flight to Milan in October. About 30 days before, they notified our travel agent that they had discontinued service from Boston. They wanted to reroute us via Chicago! We had to book on Air France for more money. Some folks who booked direct (without a travel agent) never got notified or had a hard time getting their money back.
