Yes. A few years back, before it changed name. I used it a few times within Europe with no complaints.
Used to be called Meridiana airlines. Operated mostly European flights, and a few more to some intercontinental destinations like JFK, Zanzibar, etc.
After some financial troubles in the early 2010s, in 2018 Qatar Airways purchased 49% of the airline (the maximum allowed by the EU for non EU airline owners) and the name changed to Air Italy.
The company, after the Arabs’ entry, is expanding their routes to several destinations worldwide. Their business model now seems to be similar to Norwegian Air, basically a medium and long haul low cost airline. You probably have to pay extra for baggage and they have difference price structure depending on the flexibility. Therefore a non refundable ticket will be cheap, but if you want to have a chance to make changes later, you might have to pay more for that flexibility.
