Air conditioned airbnb's (or reasonably priced hotels) in Rome, Florence, CT, Venice

As mentioned in another post, I'll be traveling to Italy between July 1-12th (no choice in travel time) and I super-duper hate heat, so would love your specific recommendations of air conditioned places to stay in Rome (Trastavere maybe?), Florence, Cinque Terre and possibly Venice. Looking to travel on a relative budget (between $60-$125/night for lodging) if feasible. We don't mind being in a room in someone's house, or sharing a bathroom. We like getting to know the host(s), etc. Being cool and relatively comfortable is of the highest priority!

Whatever way search for your lodging , just be sure to check 'a/c' in the filters category.

Finding something for less than 100 euro for the peak of tourist season, will be a challenge at this point.

Good luck!
