Hello, any recommendations on Air bnb or traditional bnb for Rome and Venice? We are doing a heart of Itay tour in Oct -flying in a day early but our hotel is booked the day before. Thanks for all your tips on other questions!
Plug in what you are looking for in their search parameters and select "super host" for AirBnB. That should give you good results.
I love Airbnb and only stay in their rentals, but it depends on what kind of accommodations you want. Be sure to click on all the amenities that are important to you before you search. Have fun!
We book almost all of our apartments thru AirBnb. However 2 years ago we stayed in Venice in the Canneregio neighborhood at a wonderful place that we booked thru Vacationrentals.com. The owners were very nice and spoke English. The apartment was large and nicely furnished, and there was a terrace with a commanding view of Campo di Giovanni & Paolo and the duomo. The building itself was over 400 years old and can be seen in several historic paintings, as it sits right on a canal across from the Campo. A good value and just a short walk to all the major sights. Here's a link....
