I would appreciate if anyone new of Agriturismos or working farm house in this area it does not have to be in the towns themselves. I have read of one between Rome and Naples but I would like to be a bit further south. I do not require saunas or pools but a good working farm would be ideal. We will have a car so I would like to make this a home base. Thank you

I would check out www.agriturismo.com - you can narrow your choices down by region, then by province, then by commune. When someting looks good, Google it, and check for user reviews.

Hi Pat, I stumbled across this website for Torre Cangiani - 5kms. from Sorrento. It looks breathtaking to me. Not sure that I'll get back to the Sorrentine peninsula again, but if I do this is the place that I'd choose. Lucky you! Sherry

I Sherry, yes I found that B&B too.Great reviews.Actually saw it somewhere on the Rick Steves web. The owners wrote me yesterday. It looks out of this world. I t think that that general area will be perfect for our travels Thanks for your input
