Agriturismos between Venice, Florence, Milan, and Turin Italy-Mid-May to Mid June 2023

First of all thank you for your help by way of this travel forum! We have relied on it may times and it's been a blessing.

This past May and June we had the wonderful opportunity to stay at an agriturismo in the Umbria region (near Assisi) and another one in the Tuscany region (near Pienza). Each stay was a week long. We based ourselves at these farms and did day trips. Sometimes we just relaxed on the farm, took a cooking class, etc. and then went out for dinner to a beautiful village or town. We didn't want to leave!! This is our new style of travel going forward ......if we can make it work.

We fly into Venice and out of Florence May-June 2023. We have 3 and half weeks this time. Would love to see the Cinque Terre as a possible add on at the end, but it's not necessary. We'll have a car, but will train to the CT if we can work that into our trip. We've have visited many of the large Italian cities on past trips. We'd prefer to visit small towns , but would be open to a day trip to Bologna if it's not too far of a drive from an agriturismo.

We would move east to west, staying in the northern part of Italy. I found a beautiful place not far from Venice but it was booked. If you have any farm/agriturismos suggestions for us it would be greatly appreciated. We've thought about the Piedmont region and the Lombardy region at the end of the trip. We could drop off our car in Milan or Turin and then train to the CT, and then onto Florence to fly home. So "maybe"we could stay at 3 agriturismos ( moving east to west) and finish with the CT??

Please feel free to critique our ideas and we welcome your suggestions and recommendations, Thank you in advance for your help!!

Happy trails,
Monica and Dennis

Prior to our time in Italy we have 3 and half days in London. Looking for a location to stay in London. Any suggestions? We fly into London Heathrow. We will not have a car.

London---we usually stay at the Citadines, Trafalgar Square. The location is very convenient. This is an apartment hotel, so the rooms come with a small well-equipped kitchen. Get a one -bedroom, the studios are too small.

If you have an early flight out of LHR, the Sofitel attached to terminal 5 is very convenient and has a decent restaurant.
