Agriturismo suggestions in Tuscany

Hello,
Can someone suggest which location should I chose for Agriturismo (Chianti region or region close to Siena/San G) in Feb (around 20th) for a newly wed couple. I would prefer the accommodation that serve Brkfast etc., but not looking for luxury option; actually we won't be in the region for too long to try cooking ourselves.. Will prefer place with originality over luxury.
We plan to spend 2 nights and 3 days in the region and plan to travel from Florence to Tuscany, and then to Rome through Car.

I understand that there are many options listed out in this Forum, and on the web. But that is actually the problem, there are way too many..enough to confusion a first timer!! :).
Also, many of these places seem to be too commercialized to have actually lost the warmth - just my thought.
Appreciate the help and guidance offered by people out here!

Tuesday 19 Florence to Agriturismo (Via tuscany road trips)
Wednesday 20 Agriturismo
Thursday 21 Agriturismo to Rome (Reach Late evening by Car)

I copied this from your other thread. Exactly what are you planning for the agriturismo day?

I have three possible suggestions for you. Both would be based on taking a down day Wednesday at Castello di Verrazzano
Plan A: Tuesday - Florence to Siena via train. Spend day in Siena, pick up car and drive to Greve.
Plan B: Tuesday - Pick up car in Florence, drive to San Gimignano and spend the morning. Grab lunch, then drive to Volterra and spend the afternoon. Drive to Greve in the evening.
Plan C: Pick up car in Florence. Drive the famed CHiantigiana, but ending in Gaiole instead of Siena. Back track to Greve and check in at Verrazzano.

Wednesday - Have breakfast at Verrazzano, then scoot into Greve and explore. It's just 10 minutes away. Return to Verrazzano for the noon tour and food and wine tasting. This will take at least 3 hours, but if you make it a true relaxed Italian experience, you won't finish up until 4:00. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the grounds at Verrazzano, then have a quiet evening. You won't need to have dinner, you'll be completely full from the food and wine tasting.

Thursday - Head to Rome. There's plenty of options on the way to Rome, including Montepulciano and Orvieto. You could even plan to drop off your car in Orvieto and take the train into Rome.

Driving in Italy is straightforward, but you need to read up. Also, speed limits are strictly enforced. Obey all speed limit signs. ZTLs are well marked. My rule of thumb is if there is a wall around the center of the town, it is in the ZTL.

Interesting! They must take late winter off, because they were open in December. I don't have other specific recommendations. Perhaps something near Siena would be open there. Also, go to YouTube and look up Rick's Tuscany episode. He mentions an agriturismo that looks charming. Maybe they will be open then.

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage! My wife and I met on a high school trip to Europe and have been going steady ever since. This August marks 53 years of going steady and 49 years of being married.
