Has anyone been to an Agriturismo in Tuscany or Umbria that was particularly wonderful? I am interested in the area near Assisi.
I understand that there are websites where I can look for an agriturismo, but would love to hear about anyone's personal experience in the last few years. Most other forum posts that I have seen on this topic are dated.

Hello Chris,
Le Mandrie de San Paolo, just outside Assisi is a nice option and has a great restaurant - www.agriturismomandriesanpaolo.it/en. It's listed in the Assisi chapter of Rick's Italy guidebook. I stayed here several years ago and really enjoyed it.
