My apologies if this has been answered before but I do not see it in a recent thread. We are planning on traveling to Italy next summer with children ages 5 and 7. I read about the agriturismos in Tuscany and they sound really cool, but seems that many require a whole week. Do any of these allow less than a week? Are these types of places family/child friendly?
Any specific recommendations on one you have stayed in?
Pretty sure Marciano books for less than a week
Have not stayed there but considered for a past trip
I believe it is listed in RS guide
It is just outside Siena, I believe walkable and if I remember correctly they also have bikes to use

And yes would be family friendly
That is correct. I stayed at Agr. Marciano in OCT 2017 for 4 days. Great place.
Here are two to check out. Both would require a car.

Located off the Firenze Siena autostrada.
Close to Poggibonsi

More in the countryside east of Siena
Will you be driving? Most agriturismos require a car.
I have stayed there before and I would not recommend Marciano to you. I don't think it's suitable for young children. I would choose a place with a pool in the summer. I stayed 4 nights at http://www.fattorialavacchio.com/AGRITURISMO/en/index/ and I think it's much better for kids. There's a pool and plenty of room for them to run around.
We stayed at Agriturismo Casanova (http://www.agriturismo-casanova.it/eng/index.php) for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time. It is about 10 minutes from Asciano, and from there we did day trips to Siena and Montepulciano.
