Looking for a agriturismo in Tuscany, preferably close to Florence that have air condition. Do these exist or are opening windows the norm? Does anyone have experience with these types of accomodations in Mid June? Tim
I stayed at the Il Canto del Sole just south of Siena in June 2011. I can't specifically remember if they had air conditioning or not, but I would remember if the room had been hot, and it wasn't. It was a fantastic place by the way. Of course with an agriturismo, you want to open the windows and experience the countryside anyway! You could write them and see if they have any rooms with air. Good luck.
We'll be staying at: http://www.gliarchidicorsanello.it/servizi.php in February. Their website says they have air conditioning in June. So far, my communications with them have been positive with no problems. However, we haven't actually been there yet. The reviews online are good though.
