We have been to Italy many times, so you would think I would have a handle on our next vacation. But I Don't! My husband and I and our 22yr old son and 17 yr old dtr will be going summer of 2011. We will fly in and out of Rome Generally we spend 1 week traveling and one week with my parents at their home on the Lazio/Abruzzo border. We rent a car which has always worked out well. We have been to Tuscany, Puglia, Umbria, Campagna, Lazio and Abruzzo. We have enjoyed agriturismi in several places. Now I am thinking of Cinque Terre but I hesitate due to the summer crowds and the car would be a problem. Am also considering the Maremma but do not know a lot about this area. It would be more convenient to my parents' home. Does anyone know of an agriturismo in the Maremma that is near to the beach, with very good food? A pool and nice atmosphere would be a plus. we do not need luxury. I have also thought about Maratea but that would be a longer drive. thanks for any suggestions
