Anyone know of any great agriturismo places to stay for 5 or 7 days in the South end of Italy in late June? Our family (2 adults, 4 kids, ages 10-20) is looking South of Naples down into the toe of the boot.
We loved Agriturismo Seliano, at Paestum. Paestum is just south of Salerno. It's a Greek (!) ruin and very important. (The Romans didn't build on it because it was a malaria swamp.) The communal dinner, with many Europeans, was great fun. The owner runs a cooking school on site, so you know the cuisine is great. The current website indicates the rooms have been redone. We were there in 2007 and the rooms were not as nice as they appear to be today.

near Castellana-Grotte (closest large city is Bari) was highly recommended to us by a friend. We have made reservations for five days in May. Take a look at the web site. From what I can see, it would be great for kids.
