Agriturismo in Monterosso, CT-Uliveto nel Parco--Have you stayed here?

Has anyone stayed in the Agriturismo outside of Monterosso? It's called Uliveto nel Parco. What was your experience? How far was the walk from Monterosso? Trip Advisor has good reviews. We're curious about the Rick Steve's audience. Thank you!

I am also curious about this as we are going in 2 weeks, and this is the place recommended to us by Manuel's Guesthouse (which is full).

We just got back from our stay and it was AMAZING!!! It is about a 10 min. walk down to town. It takes probably twice that to get back as it is uphill :). It is a lovely walk through their property, and lands you pretty much right at the beach. The agritourismo is beautiful, and it is simple but very nicely equipped. Our only "complaint," (but not really, we didn't even mention it) is that there wasn't AC, but that shouldn't be a problem in sept. The food is amazing, I highly recommend having Tommy cook supper for you at least once. He made us fresh fish caught that afternoon, gnocci with pesto, zucchini from their garden, and a lovely dessert. They have many products that they produce, including lemoncello, lemon wine, and other beverages they made! The breakfast with fresh fruits from their trees, jams they made, etc. was delicious. I enjoyed it more than the supper we had in town, though that was good too. The view is just as good as promised! Tommy and Elena were wonderful, very accommodating and friendly. Tommy picked us up at the train station and drove us back again when we left. For a personal, lovely stay in a gorgeous setting, I recommend it to anyone!

Rachel, Thank you for the detailled description of the agriturismo. How many pounds did you gain with all that eating? :) We're glad to know that it's a short walk to town. I thought it was "out there." We're very excited. We will be there in August. I'm sure it will be very warm for sleeping. Thank you again!
