Can anyone recommend a good agriturismo (for June) within a short drive, or walk to great hiking? We'd like breakfast and the availability of a restaurant at the agriturismo. thank you.
Any other suggestions for dolomite "must see or do" would also be appreciated!
Dianne
I found this one near Compatsch when searching for lodging for our family on Alpe di Siusi. It won’t work for us but it might for you.

Breakfast is included, and they will cook dinner on request, or you can have dinner at other restaurants nearby.
Thank you, this looks perfect. I've emailed them about the price. Hope it's not too high!
The price was very reasonable when I checked, but they had a one-week minimum stay requirement which did not work for us. But that may have been due to the size of our group(8 people, requiring apartments at least).
I will say the location is ideal, for scenery and easy access to hiking and mountain biking. And they may even offer horseback riding. I ended up booking one of the nearby hotels because I like that location so much.
I looked in my tourism guide from Seiser Alm— a nice brochure they mail on request —and found other agriturismo listings for the area ( all of these above the valley up on Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi:
Gstatschhof Ponyhof
Www.gstatschhof.com
Farm Ratzeshof
Www.ratzeshof.com
Farm Grunserhof
Www.grunserhof.com
Malge Römerschwaige
Www.roemerschwaige.com
The agriturismo have “sunflower” ratings, comparable to stars for hotels. The Ponyhof has 4 sunflowers, meaning “extraordinary eauipment” according to the key provided. . The others I listed all have 3 sunflowers, meaning they offer “extra facilities, making a stay on a farm a special experience”. The Malva Jaggi Schwaige that I mentioned previously has two sunflowers, meaning it is simpler, offering “pleasant lodging” in rooms with shower and WC.
