Can anyone help me with a recommendation on an Agriturismi-type accommodation for my upcoming trip with friends. We are looking for something outside of Florence in the area of San Gimingnano or vicinity? Looking for quiet, near towns to visit on day trips, breakfast, etc. Any help at all would be appreciated.

We stayed at Castillo di Verrazzano and had a great time. It was very convenient. It is just outside Greve, 20 miles south of Florence. San Gimignano is about 45 minutes away. This is a great place if you love wine. Also their breakfasts are to die for. We had a food and wind pairing that was amazing as well.
The good news is that there are many wonderful places to choose from. Just pick your price point.
