Hi: I found the agritourismo site really good and so many choices. We are going to be staying at I Vecchi Mulin between Padua and Vincenza...really good communication with the owners and reasonable. Great reviews on Trip Advisor. good luck

In August 2007 our family of 4 stayed in the lovely apt. Il Fienile at Ca'del Baldo agriturismo (www.cadelbaldo.com)which is located just outside the village of Caprino Veronese and at the foot of Mt. Baldo. The apartment was formerly part of the hayloft. We flew into Venice and picked up our rental car here but I can't remember how far it was. It is only a few km from Lake Garda and about 30 km from Verona. We have stayed at a number of agriturismi in Tuscany and Umbria where there are so many to choose from. I didn't feel there were as many in the north. Ca del Baldo is beautiful and run by Robert and her husband Carlo who were very sweet. You can see pictures on their website. We did daytrips to Verona, Mantova, Sirmione and many of the villages on the east side of Lake Garda. Spent a night at Padova (as our check in at ca del baldo wasn't till the next day) and saw the Scrovegni Chapel.
