Agritourismo near Parma/Modena with kids

Hi!

Has anyone had any experience with staying at an agritourismo in the Emilia-Romagna area (Parma, Modena, etc). We have 3 young kids. Looking to do more tasting and learning around prociutto and parmesean cheese (our kids love a good charcuterie board!). I'm wondering if this would be a nice experience for them versus a traditional hotel. Kids are 10, 14, and 4. Would we be in "close quarters" and "botehr" other guests? Do the agritourismo's have a more adults only feel? Thank you so much for any advice!

Even if the articles are written in Italian, try to have a look if someone of these places is suitable for you: https://www.archibio.com/agriturismo-con-animali-a-modena/

In general a lot of agriturismi are focused on families, so you find a lot of suitable solutions.

You can even have a look on the map of "Fattorie didattiche" (learning farms), even if several ones do only activities but don't have rooms for the night: https://agricoltura.regione.emilia-romagna.it/fattorie-progetti-didattici/mappa-fattorie-didattiche
