were going to Rome for the first time and have a day after the tour ends to our selves, I was hoping to find a nice country inn or B & B vineyard to stay over night before heading back to the air port, any suggestions on where to go ? Many Thanks

I wouldn't recommend staying anywhere that might make it harder to get to the airport the next day. For me, that would mean spending the night in the historic center of Rome, and then taking a taxi to the airport the next morning.

Depending on what time your flight departs, you could perhaps stay in the Orvieto area, as it's not far from Rome. More information on your flight times would be helpful.

I'd agree with above: it very much depends on what time your flight is how far away you want to be from reliable transport to Fiumicino. It may be easier (and safer, from a transport perpective) to just stay in Rome and take a day trip.
