Affittacamere Casa Dane' in La Spezia

I believe Rick Steves thinks it's better to stay in one of the villages so you won't find him recommending hotels in La Spezia. I've stayed in La Spezia and find it a reasonable location for a short visit or when rooms are scarce in the towns. I stayed at Hotel Mary a few years ago. It is just across the street behind the train station. I don't know the hotel you ask about. You might check its location in relation to the train station if that's your mode of transport. La Spezia has a nice pedestrian street down the center of town. It probably still has its big outdoor market on Fridays.
