Seeking any advice on the Aeolian islands in early to mid November. Planing a 2.5 week vacation to Sicily during this time with my parents and while we've all been to Sicily before we've never been to any of the Aeolian islands.
I've read Lipari is generally livelier all year round. But is a trip to Lipari or Salina or Stromboli worth it during this time? How much time should we alott?

Ferries may not be reliable in November, based on weather.; schedules may change off-season as well I spent several nights in Lipari and daytrippers to Stromboli, Panarea and Vulcano, but it was in May.
While I've only been to Lipari in season, even bigger Mediterranean islands can be very quiet, with multiple store closures, off-season. Don't continue your planning until you get more specific advice than I can give. Also check prevailing temperatures on Google or wherever.
We were in Lipari for 4 nights in late September last year. It seemed very sleep then--I imagine November would be even less lively.
