Advice Sorrento Trip

Hi,

I am planning a surprise birthday trip for my partner to Italy next March. The plan is to stay in Florence for about four days and then the Sorrento area for another four or five days. Can anyone tell me what the weather will be like in the Sorrento/Amalfi Coast area at that time of the year? Also, does anyone have suggestions for nice/moderately priced places to stay in that area? Since it is a birthday present, I don't want to stay somewhere too basic...but since we'll have a new baby, I also don't want to blow our savings. Finally, how hard is it to get around without a car in this area? I have been to Italy before and took trains everywhere, but I didn't go to Sorrento last time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Thanks for the reply! I guess I should have been clearer in my post. I know weather can vary from year to year, but I was just wondering what kind of weather others have experienced in the past around that time of the year.

Thanks again!

Given the variation from year to year, your most reliable data is the long term average data given at weather.com
