Advice please on Stio Salerno, Italy / Agropoli

Next year I plan to spend 2 weeks in Italy, I would like to be no more than 20 / 30 miles from Stio.
I’ve had a quick look on a map and Agropoli seems like a good spot.

Can anyone recommend anywhere near by , things to do ? I will be travelling with my son (7) So we would like a private villa with a pool. Agropoli stood out as it’s costal any advice or recommendations welcome.

Also would love to know of any recommendations on things to do or see around In and around Stio itself

I've been to the area but not Agropoli.
There are Greek ruins at Paestum and Velia, and you can do some boat trips at Marina di Camerota. There are very nice sandy beaches, and pretty hill towns inland. Google "Cilento" and you'll find plenty--you will need a car though.
