We've booked a noon international flight out of Naples next May 2025. We will be staying in Positano. Would it be safe to plan on leaving Positano by private, pre-booked transport at 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the flight, or should we leave Positano on the evening before the flight and plan to stay close to the Naples airport that night? I know that Michelin shows that the drive is about an hour and a half, but do I need to be concerned about traffic issues.

I would stay in Naples the night before
Too risky and yes traffic will be an issue
You’ll want to be at NAP by 9 am so taxi from your Naples hotel by 8:30 should be fine
You do not need to stay AT the airport it is a quick 15-20 min ride from the center
