Advice on Scenic Drive from Limone Sul Garda to Mogliano Veneto

Hi everyone!

I wanted to know if anyone had any advice on any a scenic route that I could take from Limone Sul Garda to Mogliano Veneto. I was looking into the Dolomites as my family loves nature (i.e. mountains and lakes) but we are not much into hiking.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

It's not really the Dolomites, as those are north of the lake and you need to head south.
The favoured route seems to be to drop down via Verona.
There are roads across the mountains (lower than Dolomites) - I suggest you have a look at Google maps.

Hello! I would suggest to do a road trip along the Gardesana Orientale (SR249) while making your way to Mogliano. It's scenic and you can stop along the way in places like Malcesine, Torri del Benaco, Garda and Bardolino. I really liked Lazise which is further down. It's not Dolomites but you always have the Dolomites as backdrop.

While I advice to take the shortest possible route via Riva del Garda - Rovereto and then highway to Verona then direction Mogliano, a possible alternative could be the route through Trento - Levico (Valsugana valley) and Bassano. Almost no highway on this route, so slower, in a low mountains landscape. Maybe you can look on Google maps some photos to see if the landscape is worth the detour. No Dolomites, however.
