Advance Reservations in November?

For which sites should I purchase advance reservations for a visit in early November? Rome: Vatican (already booked Scavi tour under St. Peter's). Florence: Accademia. Venice: Doges Palace (already booked San Marco Basilica). Any thoughts?

On my two November visits to Venice there were no lines for anything and I made no reservations for any of the sites. I made reserves for the secret tour because I thought that they are required - I supposed because they need to have the apprpriate language guides scheduled. It's been a few years so my experience may not reflect current practice.
