advance museum tickets

After all of my research on this site and Rick's books I've learned the value of advance museum tickets. I have only booked for Vatican Under the Stars and thought we would book for other sites in Rome, Florence, &Venice from the apts., but w/o access to a printer I won't be able to print out confirmations. Will I need print outs? Help thanks

For the colosseum and Borghese gallery you just need the confirmation code. You don't really need to print anything as you get your actual ticket there. Not sure which other sites you want to book in advance. Donna

The museum/sites we are looking to see in Rome are the typical ones, Colosseum, Forum, Nat'l Museum of Rome, Borghese, Baths of Diocletian. In Florence, the Uffizi, Accademia and maybe Museum of San Marco. And rounding up in Venice - haven't checked all of that out, but want to hop over to Milan for The Last Supper. Thanks! Terre

The forum is covered by the same ticket as the colosseum. You can print them at home or collect onsite with a confirmation number. You won't need advance tickets for the Baths of Diocletian or the Natl museum of Rome as they are never crowded. For the Borghese gallery you'll just need the confirmation number when you check in. You can call to make the reservation ahead of time or do it online. Donna

Don't pass up the Museum of San Marco! I got an advance ticket but I really didn't need it, it was not crowded (end of July 2011). If you have time, the Bargello museum is worth a visit, as is the Museo dell'opere del Duomo (artworks of the Duomo).
