We want to stay on the Adriatic coast on our way up to Florence from Sorento.
We want a one $ accommodation.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
We have Rick’s 2007 Italy book but there doesn’t seem to be much about the Adriatic.
Urbino and San Marino are not quite on the Adriatic but close and worth seeing. They are even with Florence latitude-wise so you would go straight west to get to Florence. Don't know any $ accomodations in Urbino but prices are lower than Rome/Florence/Venice so you will probably find a $$ place meets your price needs, try Albergo Italia in Urbino.
