I will be traveling from the US to Italy in October. What type of electrical adapter should I purchase? Any help would be appreciated.
Ron In Rome has the best info on this question that I've seen, complete with pictures: http://tinyurl.com/italy-power
I made a video on this very topic: http://www.lodgephoto.com/blog/plug-converters-adapters-for-europe/323/
Agreed, those links are both what I used to help us. We're here now and we did have to have both types of round plug adaptors with us, if we wanted to utilize both outlets. Each outlet ( one in bathroom and one in bedroom area) was different, as I had read regarding Italy's different plugs.
Got my converter at Wal-Mart years ago and still works in all Europe. They are about $20.00.
