Has anyone purchased or knows about the 3 day Blue or Orange ACTV cards? I believe they offer you unlimited public transportation. in Venice.
They are different from the Venice card.

I purchased a three day (2009 trip) and it was perfect for our pre-cruise stay. It's good for 72 hours after being activated. I think I purchased online and it was very handy. If you are carrying your luggage, be sure to pack light. That was the only hassle we experienced was hauling our luggage. Enjoy your trip!

I believe that the blue and orange may refer to the Alilaguna boats. They have runs called Linea Blu and Linea Orancio. The don't have near as many stops as the ACTV vaporettos nor are they as frequent. We just purchased the 72-hour travel card plus the one-way bus ride from Marco Polo. We also purchased a couple of toilet cards. It's all on www.veniceconnected.com
